About David
David Walsh is a senior journalist and editor, broadcaster and event moderator based in Edinburgh in the UK.
With over a decade of experience reporting across media platforms, he has cultivated a passion for storytelling in all its forms with his work appearing in international and national outlets such as The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The i paper, Euronews, The Scotsman and The Irish Independent amongst others.
David is also a seasoned moderator, taking to the stage to lead panel discussions at technology conferences and events like Web Summit.

With a natural curiosity and a long-standing interest in current affairs, politics, and travel, David has in recent years developed a specialism in technology, forming an understanding of its profound impact on contemporary society and what it holds in store for humanity in the future.
In his most recent role as Managing Editor of Euronews Next and Euronews Health, David led a hybrid team of talented journalists who delivered high-quality content for broadcaster Euronews, giving a European perspective on how the future of health, work, mobility, and money is being shaped by the latest technology, innovations, and trends.
David studied History and French at the University of Manchester between 2006 and 2010 before completing his MA in Journalism at Edinburgh Napier University in 2012.
He was nominated for a Scottish Press Award in 2018.
